The Mahanakhon skyscraper is the most famous and most interesting high-rise building in Thailand.

At 314 metres, it became the tallest building in all of Thailand upon its completion in 2016, but that record was taken by the Magnolias Waterfront Residences at the ICONSIAM department store about 2 km to the west in 2018 with 318 metres.
The unusual architecture attracts attention
The basic plan and shape of the building is a simple glass block, but this is intersected by a spiral with block faces cut into the facade.
The curvilinear spiral quickly earned the nickname "pixel ribbon" and, in addition to its design function, allows many apartments to have outdoor balconies.
Skywalk: admission to the view
The roof of the building is set aside for the highest outdoor observation deck in Thailand.
On the 74th floor, you visit the indoor observation deck and on the 78th floor at 314 metres, there is an outdoor terrace with 360° views of the whole of Bangkok.
