The entire beach is covered with fine white sand and the entrance to the water is partly sandy and partly on flat rocks.
The water is still pleasantly shallow about 20 metres from the shore.
Dawn Beach is located in a quieter part of the island and is ideal for a relaxing day by the sea.
Although the beach is directly adjacent to the huge hotel complex, there are unobtrusive paths on the sides for the general public.
However, sun loungers and parasols can only be hired if they are not fully occupied by hotel guests. However, there is plenty of space on the beach for those who don't want to rent a sun lounger.

Anse Marcel can only be reached by taxi or car.
The taxi fare from SXM airport is 40 usd.
